WEFPA Strengthens Institutional Excellence Through Capacity Building for WAPCP Secretariat Staff

Recognising that institutional excellence begins with investing in people, the Wilson Erhun Foundation for Pharmacy Administration (WEFPA) successfully concluded a comprehensive Capacity Building Programme for the Secretariat Staff of the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists (WAPCP), Nigeria Chapter.
The initiative reflects WEFPA’s unwavering commitment to strengthening healthcare systems through leadership development, organisational capacity building, and professional excellence. Rather than focusing solely on clinical practice, the Foundation recognises that effective healthcare institutions depend equally on efficient administration, strategic leadership, and competent support systems. By equipping the Secretariat staff of WAPCP with modern administrative and professional competencies, WEFPA has taken another significant step toward enhancing institutional effectiveness and improving service delivery to members of one of West Africa’s foremost professional pharmacy organisations.
WEFPA Prize for Excellence in Pharmacy Administration
An annual award presented to the best graduating student in Pharmacy Administration across accredited Faculties of Pharmacy in West Africa (Anglophone and Francophone).
Objective
To recognize and reward the best graduating undergraduate student in Pharmacy Administration from accredited Faculties of Pharmacy in West Africa, based on outstanding academic performance and demonstrated excellence in the discipline.
